FIRST-TIME COLLISION QUESTIONS

Absolutely! You have the legal right to choose your own repair shop. Insurance companies might have recommended partners, but they cannot force you to use their preferred shop. We work with all major insurance companies, and have over 3 decades of experience

We work with all major insurance companies and can assist with the claims process on your behalf to make repairs as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our team communicates directly with your adjuster, submits required documentation and photos, and ensures all repairs follow proper OEM procedures. This means your vehicle is restored safely and correctly, not just quickly.

After a collision, it is very normal for hidden damage to be found during your vehicle’s disassembly process.  When this happens, we will notify you and send a supplement with supporting photos and documentation to the insurance company for approval.

A supplement is any additional damage uncovered by Uni-Tech that was not a part of the original estimate. This supplement must be approved by the insurance company before we proceed with addressing the damage. As stated above, we will notify you and your insurance company if additional damage is found during the disassembly process.

Direct damage is the damage at the point of the collision’s impact. Indirect damage is secondary damage, such as buckles, cracks, or shifted panels away from site of impact. Uni-Tech will inform you of any indirect or hidden damages discovered during the assessment of your vehicle.
